Hideo Kojima Calls YRF Spy Universe’s Tiger 3 Incredibly Entertaining!
Love it!
Hideo Kojima shares his first impressions of Tiger 3, praising the nostalgic vibes and action-packed sequences.
Hideo Kojima, the legendary game designer often crowned the 'God of Gaming,' just shared his excitement over Tiger 3, and let me tell you, this guy knows entertainment. Watching it on a flight, Hideo was absolutely hooked by the YRF Spy Universe’s latest action-packed extravaganza, starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi. And yes, he took to social media to let everyone know just how much he loved it.
In his post, Hideo called Tiger 3 “incredibly entertaining.” He couldn’t stop gushing about the action, pacing, direction, visuals, and sound, all of which he felt gave off major nostalgic vibes, like a throwback to the '90s action films we all grew up on. In fact, Hideo even joked that he probably should’ve watched it on the big screen for the full effect. Guess we all know what he’ll be doing next time!
On the flight, I watched ”Hen na ie (The Strange House)" the movie adaptation and the Indian film Tiger 3.

Tiger 3 was incredibly entertaining. The action, pacing, direction, visuals, and sound had a nostalgic vibe, almost reminiscent of the 90s. I probably should've seen it on… pic.twitter.com/Xe40Kdnt13
But what really got Hideo excited? Well, Salman Khan’s swag was definitely a highlight for him, but it was Shah Rukh Khan's cameo as Pathaan that made him lose it. The guy couldn’t even contain his excitement and admitted to clapping on the plane! Hideo shared, “It was my first time watching the Tiger series, but the YRF Spy Universe is truly amazing. And of course, seeing Pathaan make an appearance was a huge moment. I ended up clapping on the plane. As a fan of Pathaan, I can’t wait to see the next film featuring him!” Yep, he was all in.
For anyone still catching up, Tiger 3 is the fifth film in the YRF Spy Universe, directed by Aditya Chopra. It continues the saga from Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, and it’s set in the same timeline as War and Pathaan. To say this franchise is a juggernaut would be an understatement. YRF has been absolutely killing it, and the universe keeps expanding. In fact, War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr., is set to drop on Independence Day 2025. Plus, there’s Alpha, with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, coming on December 25, 2025.
