Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, one of Bollywood's favorite couples, have often been in the spotlight, sometimes for less-than-flattering reasons. Recently, Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, addressed the criticism labeling her brother a "misogynist" and an "unsupportive husband" to Alia Bhatt, making it clear that the couple is unfazed by public perception.

In an interview with Zoom, Riddhima shared that both Ranbir and Alia are deeply in love and have built a beautiful life together with their daughter, Raha. “They adore each other. They’ve created the most beautiful child, Raha. She is so, so adorable. They are amazing parents. So, I don’t think they really care about what people say,” she said.

Riddhima highlighted how online trolls are unavoidable, adding that faceless judgments don’t hold any significance to the couple. She emphasized that Ranbir and Alia’s happiness as a family matters more than anything else.

Reflecting on the couple’s intimate 2022 wedding at their Mumbai home, Riddhima revealed it was a conscious decision. After experiencing a grand family wedding for her own nuptials, Ranbir expressed his desire for a smaller, more personal celebration. “Ranbir and Alia are simple people. They wanted an intimate gathering with those who truly matter to them, and they had a great time,” she shared.

Riddhima also recalled her late father, Rishi Kapoor’s wishes of seeing Ranbir married and their house completed. While it was emotional not having him witness the moments, she expressed gratitude for fulfilling his dreams.

The couple, known for their low-key lifestyle, continues to focus on their family and careers, brushing off negativity and staying grounded. Their daughter Raha, born in November 2022, remains a cherished addition to their lives.
