The trailer for Netflix's much-awaited film, Dhoom Dhaam, featuring Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi, has been released, offering a glimpse into a wedding-themed action-comedy filled with chaos, romance, and unexpected twists. Directed by Rishab Seth, the film is set to release on February 14, 2025, making it a perfect Valentine's Day binge.
The movie follows the story of newlyweds Koyal and Veer, played by Gautam and Gandhi, whose first night together spirals into a wild adventure. The trailer reveals how their arranged marriage takes a chaotic turn when mysterious goons chase them, leading to a night of mistaken identities, surprise guests, and unexpected challenges. A central mystery revolves around a character named Charlie, with the plot teasing why everyone seems to be after him.
The film is produced by Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar of B62 Studios, alongside Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios. Talking about her character, Gautam shared that Koyal is not the traditional bride viewers might expect. She said the role challenges stereotypes but does so in a relatable and non-forceful way, adding that many women would identify with her character’s journey. She also described the film as an unpredictable and enjoyable adventure.
Pratik Gandhi, who plays Veer, revealed that his character is far from the usual romantic comedy hero. He found Veer to be a vulnerable and relatable man who ends up in surprising situations, making the role refreshing to play.
Director Rishab Seth explained that Dhoom Dhaam explores love in its messy, unpredictable forms. He said the film is about more than just two people coming together—it’s a story about how love persists and grows even in chaotic circumstances.
