Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Title Track Review: Kartik Aaryan Impresses, But Song Misses The Original’s Magic

Kartik Aaryan delivers a high-energy dance performance in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3's title track, accompanied by a star-studded collaboration with Pitbull, Diljit Dosanjh, and Neeraj Shridhar. Read our full review!

The title track for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is finally here, and while it has its moments, it doesn’t quite soar the way you’d expect. Kartik Aaryan brings his signature energy, but the real strength of the song lies in the lineup of artists—Pitbull, Diljit Dosanjh, and Neeraj Shridhar—who bring a mix of global and local flavor to the table.

The track sticks to the classic Bhool Bhulaiyaa formula, with the familiar ‘Hare Ram -- Hare Krishna’ chant, but it’s given a modern makeover. Pritam and Tanishk Bagchi’s production feels like it’s trying to push some boundaries, though the result is a little uneven. Bhushan Kumar has described it as a milestone for Bollywood music, and while the collaboration is ambitious, it comes off more like a standard attempt to blend different musical worlds.

Neeraj Shridhar’s vocals are as dependable as ever, while the inclusion of Pitbull and Diljit Dosanjh adds some fun to the mix, making it feel like the title track of a sequel, as it should. The global-local fusion is enjoyable and will likely keep the track in people's minds until the film releases. Kartik Aaryan’s dance moves are entertaining enough, but only a few things about the performance really stick out as iconic. It’s one of those songs that’s good for a few listens but might not have lasting appeal.

Cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

The film’s appeal goes beyond just its music. Vidya Balan is back as the unforgettable Manjulika, which is sure to excite fans of the original. Madhuri Dixit also joins the cast, alongside Triptii Dimri, Rajpal Yadav, and Vijay Raaz. It’s clear the film is pulling together a strong ensemble, but apart from that, there isn’t much buzz about the plot that feels especially new or refreshing.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the title track does what it’s supposed to, but for me, the original still holds a special place. It feels like this song is ticking boxes rather than creating something truly memorable. That said, the collaborations hint at the possibility of a new direction for Bollywood music. Whether the film itself can rise above the nostalgia and stand out during a Diwali clash remains to be seen.
