Saif Ali Khan Rushed To Hospital After Intruder Attack: Updates On His Recovery

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was hospitalized after an intruder attacked him at his Bandra residence. His son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, transported him in an autorickshaw to Lilavati Hospital.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital early Thursday morning after a violent attack at his Bandra residence. The incident occurred around 2 am when an intruder broke into his home. Saif’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, stepped in and transported his injured father to the hospital in an autorickshaw due to the unavailability of a driver.

At the hospital, medical professionals provided updates on Saif’s condition. Dr. Nitin Dange shared that Saif had sustained severe injuries, including a knife lodged in his thoracic spinal cord. A surgery was performed to remove the knife and repair leaking spinal fluid, while deep wounds on Saif’s neck and hand were treated by the plastic surgery team. Dr. Dange reassured that Saif was stable, recovering well, and expected to make a full recovery.

The Mumbai police launched an intensive investigation into the attack. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Dixit Gedam revealed that one accused had been identified. According to the investigation, the intruder accessed Saif's residence via the fire escape staircase with the alleged intention of burglary. DCP Gedam confirmed that 10 teams have been deployed to track down the suspect and assured further updates once an arrest is made.

In a statement issued earlier, Saif’s team confirmed that he was out of surgery and recovering under close observation. They also assured that all family members were safe. The quick response from Ibrahim and the medical team's expertise have played a crucial role in stabilizing Saif's condition.
