As reported by Mid-Day, the final shoot took place on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Film City. Aamir Khan was on set for the last part of filming, which began at 2 pm and stretched late into the night. Sources shared that the actor made sure everything was completed on that day, signaling the official end of the shoot. Now that filming is done, the focus has shifted to post-production, where the team will dive into editing, visual effects, and sound design to bring the film to life.

Sitaare Zameen Par is a spiritual sequel to Aamir's beloved 2007 film Taare Zameen Par and is an official adaptation of the Spanish film Campeones (2018). Alongside Aamir, the film stars Genelia Deshmukh and Darsheel Safary. The filmmakers are aiming for a summer 2025 release, and they plan to hold focus-group screenings in February to refine the film based on audience feedback.
