Dinesh Vijan’s Chhaava brings the valiant story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj to life. Starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead, with Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles, this masterpiece hits the big screen on February 14, 2025.

The much-anticipated historical drama Chhaava is ready to hit theaters on February 14, 2025, promising a cinematic experience like no other. The film's recently released trailer offers a glimpse into the epic tale of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, showcasing his courage and leadership in the face of adversity.  

Produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films and directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava brings together an impressive team of storytellers. A. R. Rahman’s powerful music adds depth to the film, further enhancing its grandeur. The movie stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the fearless Maratha leader, and Akshaye Khanna as Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, setting up a dramatic confrontation between two iconic figures. Rashmika Mandanna plays the graceful Maharani Yesubai Bhonsale, the Queen of Swarajya, showcasing strength and elegance.  

Producer Dinesh Vijan described the film as more than a cinematic venture, calling it "a heartfelt tribute to a legacy that shaped history." He emphasized the extensive research and effort that went into bringing the story of Sambhaji Maharaj to life, hoping it would leave a lasting impact on audiences.
