Shah Rukh Khan Receives Death Threat After Salman Khan, Security Heightened

Shah Rukh Khan is the latest Bollywood superstar to receive a death threat, and this time, it’s come from Chhattisgarh. On November 5, a call was made to Mumbai’s Bandra Police Station, with the caller demanding Rs 50 lakh or else he’d harm the Jawan actor. The call was traced back to Raipur, and the police are now on the case, trying to get to the bottom of it.

The man behind the threat has been identified as Faizan Khan, who, interestingly, claimed his phone was stolen before the threat call was made. Still, the police managed to track the number. While a case has been filed, no arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing.

After the scare, Shah Rukh’s security has been beefed up. His iconic home, Mannat, has been shut off to the public, and all his upcoming appearances have been canceled for safety reasons. The actor was already under high-level protection since 2023, after receiving threats following the success of Pathaan and Jawan, with Y+ security assigned to him.

And it’s not just SRK who’s been targeted. His close friend Salman Khan, who's been dealing with threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s group due to the blackbuck poaching case, also faced a similar situation. Earlier this month, he received a new threat demanding Rs 5 crore or an apology at a temple. In response, Salman’s security was also increased.

It’s crazy to think that two of the biggest stars in the industry are now facing such serious threats. While the authorities are doing what they can to keep them safe, it’s a stark reminder of the dangers that come with fame in today’s world. Let’s hope both actors stay safe as the investigations unfold.
